Advent II - Lauds Antiphon 3

"Ecce apparebit Dominus, et non mentietur" (Behold the Lord will appear and will not deceive) draws on Habacuc 2:3. The command to wait for the tarrying vision characterizes Advent patience. The Lord who will come and not delay rewards faithful expectation.

Ecce apparebit Dominus, et non mentietur: si moram fecerit exspecta eum, quia veniet, et non tardabit, alleluja.
ENGLISH
Behold the Lord will appear, and will not deceive us: if he tarry, expect him, for he will come and will not delay, alleluia.
