Feria II Hebdomadae Sanctae - Holy Monday Lauds Benedictus

This Benedictus antiphon for Holy Monday draws from John 17:5: 'Glorify me, O Father, with thyself, with the glory which I had before the world was made.' The High Priestly Prayer (John 17) continues to provide antiphons for Holy Week. Christ's request to restore His pre-incarnate glory anticipates the Resurrection that follows the Passion.
