Rom. 13:13-14. Proper chapter for None on Advent I Sunday.

At None (3 PM, the ninth hour of Christ's death), Romans 13:13-14 completes the Advent I Epistle sequence. The moral exhortations against rioting, drunkenness, and impurity establish Advent's penitential character. "Induimini Dominum Jesum Christum" (Put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ) famously converted Augustine in the Milan garden, making this text foundational for understanding Christian conversion as "clothing oneself" with Christ.
