Dominica II Passionis seu in Palmis - Palm Sunday I Vespers Chapter (Phil. 2:5-7)

This chapter at First Vespers of Palm Sunday draws from Philippians 2:5-7: 'Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant.' The Christological hymn of Philippians provides the theological key to Holy Week: the kenosis (self-emptying) of God.
