Dominica II Passionis seu in Palmis - Palm Sunday Sext Chapter (Phil. 2:8-9)

This chapter at Sext for Palm Sunday draws from Philippians 2:8-9: 'He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross; for which cause God also hath exalted him.' At the hour of crucifixion, this text presents the paradox of the Cross: humiliation unto death becomes the path to exaltation. The chapter continues the Christological hymn begun at Vespers.
