From Luke 1:39, this antiphon narrates Mary's journey: 'Exsurgens Maria abiit in montana cum festinatione' (Mary rising up went into the hill country with haste). The 'festinatio' (haste) is not anxiety but charity's urgency: bearing Christ, Mary hastens to share Him. The geographical detail 'in civitatem Juda' grounds the narrative in Palestine's landscape.
