The Litany of the Most Precious Blood

The Litany of the Most Precious Blood was approved by Pope John XXIII in 1960, the last litany approved before Vatican II. The devotion was promoted by St. Gaspar del Bufalo (1786-1837). The 24 invocations meditate on the salvific effusions of Christ's Blood and explicitly reference liberation of souls from Purgatory.
