Used from Septuagesima through Saturday before Lent I.

A responsory sung after the a lesson at Matins during Septuagesima. The responsory form—with its verse and repeated refrain—allows meditation on the Scripture just proclaimed.

ENGLISH
R. I will bless the Lord * At all times. I will. V. His praise shall be always in my mouth. At all times. Glory be. I will. V. The Lord ruleth me, and I shall want nothing. R. He hath set me in a place of pasture.
