Antiphona Simplex (Paschaltide)

Simple form of the paschal antiphon used at Little Hours throughout Paschaltide. May be used in place of the proper psalm-derived antiphon.

The simple threefold Alleluia antiphon that may replace the proper psalm-derived antiphon at Terce during Paschaltide. This simplified form emphasizes the essential Paschal character of the season when proper antiphons are not assigned. The triple Alleluia echoes the Trinitarian doxology of the Easter liturgy.
